Easy Super Bowl Party Recipes

The Super Bowl is the perfect excuse to have family and friends over. Besides the big game, one of the most important parts of your gathering is deciding what to serve. I recently attended a Super Bowl Bash, hosted by JCPenney, where Chef Josh Capon and actor Jerry O’Connell helped take the mystery out of what to make and provided easy, amazing exclusive recipes that not only tasted great, but were easy to make and were different than your usual plain old wings!

One of the recipes Chef Capon provided was chicken lollipops. Anyone else hate the mess of eating chicken wings? We have the perfect solution – chicken lollipops.

Besides the chicken lollipops, Chef Capon demonstrated how to make filet mignon cheesesteaks and
Green Dragon Shrimp Skewers. We will be sharing the recipes later on in the week.

Not only did Chef Capon and Jerry O’Connell host the party, they were super friendly with Jerry personally introducing himself to all of the guests. Jerry shared his love of the Super Bowl by revealing, “the Super Bowl is one of the most important American holidays,” putting it up there with July 4th, Martin Luther King Jr. Day and President’s Day. Jerry hosts the party and based on his love of the filet mignon cheesesteaks, it’s safe to say he will be making the recipe for his guests. Check out Jerry’s reaction to the cheesesteak below.

While Chef Capon usually hosts a Super Bowl Party at his house, this year he will be attending the big game. Capon is a devout Giants fan, but will be rooting for the Carolina Panthers, while Jerry is rooting for the Broncos.

Leave us a comment and share what you will be doing for the Super Bowl this year!!
